HARD IN THE PAINT CUSTOMS
When I was in college, I teamed up with my brother and close friend to create an airbrushed t-shirt shop in the flea market. It was an incredible learning experience. I grew tremendously as an artist, all while perfecting my skills with the airbrush. Here it is 20 years later and I have added screenprinting to my creative arsenal. I think now is the time to get back into the market .
THE EGYPTIAN QUEEN SHEBA
I am proud to announce the feature performance of one of the most talented spoken word poets in the city of Houston. And I'm not saying that because she's my wife...LOL!!!
If you have never witnessed a spoken word performance by Queen Sheba, you are missing something great. Very few poets have the ability to touch your heart in a way that she does. She definitely has a way with the audience that is tender and powerful all at the same time. So, here is your personal invitation. I hope to see you there.
G's and Z's is an area coffee shop that has been given the nickname as the Best Little Poetry Spot in Texas. If you are interested in coming to check out the show, get there early. Seating is limited, and this spot fills up pretty quickly.
THE KING OF MARCH - OCTOBER 2009
This is one of the most challenging illustrations I have done in a while. Traditional playing card style illustrations are like puzzles in that the top and inverted figures have to match at certain points. After finally getting it all to match consistently in the right places, the rest was my standard process of drawing, inking, scanning, cleaning up and preparation for screenprinting.
The King of March is a dedication to my own fraternity. It incorporates many special symbols significant to Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity. In 2001, I created a series of similar designs for other greek organizations; long before O.G. Abel and other artists introduced their own playing card style designs.

Hi DAD!!! Just droppin by the site like I do occasionally.
